The Animotherapeutic Riding Centre in Snina offers space not only for the little ones to get to know domestic and wild animals. There you can see goats, sheep, calves, rabbits, chickens, but also piglets, a llama, a pampas nanda, roe deer and Matthew the bison. He lived in the Poloniny Mountains for many years. After a severe leg injury, he was rescued at the twelfth hour. He has recovered, but will not return to the wild. He is kept company by other animals he likes to play with. Don't forget that Matthew loves apples. If you bring him some, he will be happy to make friends with you.
There are also horses available to ride in the centre. Hippotherapy, animotherapy and partly canister therapy are also provided. You can enjoy home-made dairy and meat products. Sometimes there is also freshly baked bread or even pizza. In the summer months, they run day camps for children, so they can get to know the animal kingdom, almost in the centre of the city.
