Jewish cemetery in Snina

The owner of the Jewish cemetery in Snina is the Central Union of Jewish Religious Communities. The cemetery is in good condition and together with the tombstones is historical evidence of the existence and life of the Jewish community in the town, which had its own synagogue in Snina in the first half of the 20th century, in the local name "bužňa". During the Second World War, this community in Snina disappeared, because about 80 Jewish families were expelled from Snina during the war.
