Tricklandia is a place where you can experience a unique journey through Slovakia in a gallery of trick-art and optical illusions. V jej priestoroch nájdete námety slovenských ľudových povestí, rozprávok, ako aj reálie obcí a zámkov Slovenska (napr. Vlkolinec, Dunajec, a iné).
It is spread over an area of 500 m2, on which there are 24 attractions. They include 15 trick-art paintings, augmented reality, anti-gravity rooms, the most beautiful mirror maze in Central Europe.
In 2020, the gallery is coming up with a unique novelty that once again combines modern technology with folk culture, bringing Slovak folklore closer to younger audiences.
The creators of Tricklandia approached Miroslav Matuščina, a Slovak artist, a pupil of Albín Brunovský, who has devoted 14 years to folk architecture. He has devoted himself to this subject in his collection "Expedition TRAGARE", which consists of 210 original drawings. Mr. Matuschin accepted the cooperation and his work became the inspiration for the creation of the "Mysterious Exposition". The story of the painting changes right before the viewer's eyes depending on the light that illuminates the work. The magic lies in the use of double exposure. You see the same image differently under red light and differently under blue light.
