Symbolický cintorín (1 525 m n. m.) je turistami navštevované pamätné miesto v blízkosti Popradského plesa pod západnými stranami Ostrvy, kde sa v limbovom poraste nachádza symbolický cintorín na pamiatku tých, ktorí nechali svoje životy vo Vysokých Tatrách a výnimočne i Tatrancov, ktorí zahynuli v svetových horách.

Located here over 160 memorial plaques and 50 hand-carved wooden crosses. Originally, the memorial plaques of the victims of the High Tatras were scattered more or less at specific places of mountain tragedies.
The promoter, as well as the concrete implementer of the idea to establish a symbolic cemetery of the victims of the mountains was the academic painter Otakar Štáflwho, together with his wife and a few friends, set about building the work in 1936. It was handed over to the public in 1940 with the motto "To the dead for remembrance, to the living for warning".

Today the symbolic cemetery is taken care of by the TANAP Administration. For aesthetic and spatial reasons, strict criteria apply to its further expansion. Pre návštevníkov je každoročne uzavretý od 1. novembra do 15. júna.
