Vyšné Ružbachy is a popular and sought-after tourist destination. This is due to the beautiful nature, history, culture, but especially the thermal baths. Visitors will find well-deserved relaxation and health here.
The healing water in the spa in Vyšné Ružbachy belongs to the group of bicarbonate-sulphate, calcium-magnesium, carbonic, hypotonic mineral waters. Its source is Nine springs that spew 150 litres of water per second. Its temperature ranges from 19 °C to 22.3 °C.
Izabela Spring
The most resourceful of all the nine springs is Isabella. It produces up to 100 litres of water per second. It is currently considered to be the most carbonated spring in Europe. This spring is used by the spa not only in the hydrotherapy facilities, but also in the summer swimming pool. The borehole itself is 208 m deep and is located in the spa area on the edge of the forest.
Spring Crater
An interesting source of healing water in Ružbachy is the spring Kráter. The apt name characterizes its shape - it has the form of a real crater with a thermal lake in the middle. It is surrounded by a meter high mound of travertine.
The Holy Spring I
West of the spa area by the forest path is the spring Svätený I. The water, which flows out of the stone wall, is a popular drinking source for residents and visitors of the Vyšné Ružbachy spa park.
Springs (New) Ščensný and Stavbár
There are two mineral water sources under the Travertín Spa House. The springs Nový Ščensný and Stavbár are a work of art. They flow out of an intricately built and artistically decorated wall. Nový Ščensný from the left and Stavbár from the right trough of the artistic drinking vase.
