The nature reserve Zárez Stravného potok is located in the northern part of the Slanské vrchy Mountains in the cadastre of the village Pavlovce. The reason for the protection of this natural monument is an erosion notch on the section of the Stravný brook. Characteristic are the tourist attractive microforms of the relief - cascades, rapids and caves in conglomerate strata.
Visitors can also admire Waterfall on the Stravny brook. It is a protected waterfall located only 50 m from the mineral spring. The vegetation in this area is quite varied. It consists of a community of beech and alder.
PR Zárez Stravného potok is part of [trip:12543;Forest nature trail Taich;_blank], which offers visitors along the entire route a lot of information about the forest, its flora and fauna, the work of foresters and forest workers, forest management and care.
The nature trail consists of two circuits. The large one is suitable for adults, the smaller one for children. The route of the nature trail offers hikers several resting areas with fireplaces.
