TANAP Museum, Tatranská Lomnica

Straight from Poliankov you can head to the TANAP Museum, where you will get acquainted with the interesting sights of the Tatra nature. The museum welcomes around 30,000 visitors every year, making it one of the most visited museums in Slovakia. In the museum you will find representatives of insects, butterflies, reptiles, fish, birds and a model of a bear's den. You can relax during a walk in the Tatra Botanical Garden.

SKI museum, Tatranská Lomnica

If you are a lover of winter sports and you are interested in how skiing or sledging used to be, do not hesitate to visit the SKI museum. The exposition of the museum covers an area of almost 300 m² and shows the history of the origin and development of Tatra winter sports since the beginning of Tatra settlements, mainly until 1945.

Hrebienok and Quantarium

Take the cable car or take an easy hike to Hrebienok, which is full of attractions. After the climb, you can relax in the relax zone, which provides comfortable sun loungers in a beautiful Tatra setting full of wooden bears. While you're at Hrebienok, it's definitely worth a visit to the Quantarium - an interactive gallery of light. The Quantarium will transport you to a fairytale world full of diverse multimedia shows, interactive exhibits and explanations of physical phenomena. Swistia Krajinka, Skalnate Pleso

Another great tip for a trip is the outdoor groundhog playground near the cable car station at Skalnat Pleso. Children will not only have fun, but also learn about the footprints left by Tatra animals. In addition to climbing frames, the playground also offers carved wooden chamois, marmots, bears and much more. You can get there by cable car from Tatranská Lomnica or on foot from Hrebienok along the Tatra Highway.
