Wallachian Bridge

More than 100 years old Valaškovský bridge is located on the South Square in Humenne. It was built using the technology of riveting, a process similar to the construction of the Eiffel Tower.

In the past, the Valaškov Bridge connected the southern and northern parts of the town, which are divided by the Laborec River. It was also used for cars, but nowadays it is intended for pedestrians and cyclists.

For several years it has been known among the locals as Bridge of Love. The lovers locked their love on it with a key. Currently, they can do so on the metal heart located in front of the entrance to the bridge.
