In 1995 a Calvary was built called "Stropkov Calvary at Bani". The foundation stone of the Calvary was blessed by the Holy Father John Paul II in Košice on 2 July 1995.
The individual Stations of the Cross were blessed on 16 September 1995 by Mons. Bernard Bober, Auxiliary Bishop of Košice. On September 16, 2000, Fr. Bishop Bernard came to Bana again and consecrated the already restored and liturgically furnished church. In the same year, a part of the municipal office building was converted into a House of Mourning, and in the same year, the village was gasified.
Every year on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 14 September, the pilgrimage to Calvary, which ends with an indulgenced Holy Mass. For this purpose, a very practical covered grandstand was built next to the church in 2009.
