The exposition of the Ski Museum in Tatranská Lomnica is devoted to the history of the origin and development of winter sports in the High Tatras from the very beginning until 1945.

Visitors of the museum will learn a lot of interesting information about the beginnings of skiing, skating, curling, climbing, sledging and bobsledding in the High Tatras through 19 educational boards. Each thematic circuit is complemented by exhibits, which, together with the text part, will give visitors a perfect picture of what the High Tatras used to look like in the past.

The biggest attraction for visitors are the 3.07m long skis from 1885 and the exposition of old bobsleds, which used to run on the Tatra bobsled tracks. Men will certainly be interested in the workshop for the production of skis, ski poles and ski boots, and their gentler halves in how people used to dress or how it probably looked in the past in the mountain huts.
