There are many mineral water springs in the Šariš region, which serve the social needs of the local population. One such spring is also located in village Tulcik in its north-eastern part. There is a legend in the village that once, during the dry season, a little girl grazing geese came across this spring. The girl drilled into the ground with a stick until the water gushed out. According to the locals, this event took place in the 19th century on the Ascension of the Lord. Since then, the acid water from the spring in Tulčík has been blessed every year on this holiday.
