Thurzo's house is the only building on which the Renaissance attic. The facade has sgraffito decoration - above the second floor window is placed coat of arms of the Thurz family, below this window erb the next owner Hilary Csáky and his wife, the coat of arms of Spiš County and finally the coat of arms of the town of Levoča.
Thurzo's house in Levoca originated by the merger of two original buildings in the 15th century. Until 1532 it belonged to the prominent family of Thurz from Levoca. In 1824 it was rebuilt.
The sgraffito dates from 1903 - 1904, i.e. from the time when the house was owned by the Csáky family. A fresco with an allegorical theme, dating from around 1824, was restored in the second floor of the building in the 1970s by Jozef Czauczik.
Thurzo's house is today the seat of the State Regional Archive in Levoča.
