Hermanovce nad Topľou is situated on the northeastern slopes of the Slanské Hills in the valley of the Hermanovský brook. The village is the gateway to many hiking trails that lead to the famous peaks of Ivanov vrch, Praporec or the highest hill of the Slanské hills Šimonka. In the cadastre of Hermanovce there is several mineral springs. One of them you will find near General Kukorelli's cottage.
This place is considered as a boarding station to Valley of the Giants, through which the newly built Fairy-tale Legendarium trail. The route of the trail is also directed to places with beautiful views, which are, for example, on the Sokol Rocks. The water in the mineral springs in Hermanovce is ordinary and overflowing with carbon dioxide in the amount of 1 200 - 1 400 mg/l.
