Shom cycling track is a cycling circuit for mountain bikes in the Čergov Mountains, which leads from the Drienica recreation area in the Sabinov district along a forest track to the Sport cottage, which is known for its excellent cuisine. In the case of multi-day tours, it also offers accommodation.
The route is marked with wooden signposts and green bicycle signu. Its total length is approximately ten kilometres. The Šomá cycle track is challenging cycle path sometimes with sections with extreme climbs. Suitable for experienced cyclists. On the other hand, this cycling route offers very intense, directly adrenaline cycling experiences, which are enriched by beautiful views of the surrounding countryside during the ride. The most intense experience is the climb to Lysá with an altitude of 1068 metres, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding region and the Čergov Mountains.
Route: The circuit leads from Drienica (Sabinov district) along the forest track to the Sport cottage, through Boguš and back. It is marked with wooden signposts, signposts and thanks to the alternation of difficulty, which keeps the cyclist fit and alert, it is one of the favourites. The newly built cycling path from Sabinov to Drienica will extend the route.
