The Church of the Holy Trinity in Tatranská Lomnica was built by two Hungarian countesses Katarína and Jolana Pejacsevich and was completed in 1902. The church was designed by Gedeon Majunke in the style of Alpine sacral buildings (a very similar church from the 14th century stands near Badgastein in Austria) and was especially sensitively integrated into the terrain. For this reason it is also a symbol of Tatranská Lomnica on many postcards and paintings. After a major fire in 1981, the interior of the church was modernised.
