One of the most attractive sports and recreation zones in Spišská Bela is the locality Belianske Pond. The pond allows you to enjoy sport fishing. The path around the water area is predestined for romantic walks with the possibility of relaxing on benches overlooking the High Tatras. Recently, sports and recreational elements have been added here, which are ideal for strengthening active and amateur athletes. A seasonal restaurant and a children's play area create picnic conditions, while in the summer months the area is also enriched by numerous cultural events. This starting point offers free parking.

Cyclists will be delighted in its proximity pumptrack. It is an artificially created circuit for cycling, which can be ridden without pedalling. For cyclists and skaters there is an asphalt cycling trail 9 km long, which leads to the Tatranská Kotlina and the Belianska Cave and further along the paved surface to Ždiar. A pleasant half-hour walk from the pond will take you to an interesting place, which for children with imagination turns into a an adventurous journey back in time:
The turn-off (on the right) from the state road number 542 heading to Slovenská Ves leads through a dirt road to the locality Crooked Corner. It is a recreational and educational area and is a protected area. Educational trail leads through an important archaeological site. Although it is not a large area, it is unique in its diversity. A significant part of it consists of wetlands where beavers thrive. The wooden trail will lead visitors safely to a replica of a prehistoric dwelling.
If you like this walk, you can plan a trip to the Belianske lúky National Nature Reserve. The nature trail starts at the cycle path between Spišská Bela and Tatranská Kotlina. It is the largest preserved peat bog in Slovakia.
