From 1 April 2024, a new bus service to Mariánska hora in Levoča started. The Prešov Self-Governing Region thus meets the pilgrims who go to the Levoča mountain every year. It does so symbolically at the beginning of the pilgrimage season.
The new bus service operates on the route Levoča bus station - Košice Gate - Marian Mountain in Levoca a back. It will be in operation for more than half a year, exactly until 27 October 2024.

Sundays, holidays and first Saturdays
The connection will be available for passengers every first Saturday from April to October with departure from the bus station in Levoča at 8.45 a.m. The departure from Mariánská hora is scheduled for 11.20 am.
The new bus connection will be provided for passengers also every Sunday, equally in the months April to October. From the bus station in Levoča the bus will leave at 13.45, then from Mariánská hora back at 15.40.
The bus will run on the route also during church holidays, and always 45 min. before the liturgy. The Prešov Self-Governing Region wants to lighten the parking problem and simplify the transport to Mariánska hora, which is often problematic due to the width of the road. The region recommends that passengers check their connection before travelling to www.cp.sk.
