Súčasný drevený kostol sv. Michala archanjela v Uličskom Krivom bol postavený v roku 1718, pravdepodobne na mieste pôvodného staršieho kostola. In 1944, during the Second World War, the church was badly damaged.
The interior of the church is clearly dominated by a richly carved five-row iconostasis, which is a national cultural monument. The iconostasis dates back to the 18th century, with some icons dating back even earlier to the 16th and 17th centuries. The main row contains icons of St. Nicholas the Bishop, Our Lady of Hodegetria, Christ the Teacher and an icon of St. Michael the Archangel. In the centre of the main row is a double-leaved Tsar's door, which atypically depicts a total of 12 medallions of the Tree of Jesse, or Christ's genealogy. The iconostasis was restored in 1988 and reinstalled in 1991.
The wooden church in Uličské Krivo also has several rare icons on its side walls, such as icons of St. Michael the Archangel and Our Lady of Hodegetria with a klym (small pictures) from the 16th and 17th centuries, which were probably decorations from an older church. The mandylion on the parapet dates from this period. An interesting feature of the church are the colours of the icons of St Basil the Great and St John Chrysostom.
