The Greek-Catholic wooden church of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God in the village of Kurimka, dating from the second half of the 18th century, was destroyed by fire in 1915. A few years later, a new church of the same dedication was built in its place. In the 1970s, however, it was plastered on the outside and thus deteriorated.
The temple is structurally a three-part three-space building with two towers. The entire log structure rests on a stone foundation. The tower has a columnar structure and is clad with boards under the plaster. There were three bells in the original church, now there are only two.
Temple it is not equipped with an iconostasis, there are only four separate icons in order. The first and second icons, as well as the third and fourth, are joined by a horizontal band, giving the impression of a missing deacon's door.
