Three Chotars - Javornícka Poľana

Tri chotáre is the third highest peak in the Slanské vrchy Mountains, located at an altitude of 1025 m above sea level.

This hill provides a smaller but nice view of the northeastern area to the valley and Hanušovce nad Topľou. Most of the peak is forested, but despite the weak penetration of the sun's rays, the nature here is varied and beautiful.

You can go to the top of Tri Chotáre from the village of Zlatá Baňa. From the village you can follow the blue hiking trail to the Červená mláka saddle, from here you can follow the Hermanovský ridge up to the Čierna Hora hill, enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, and then continue along the red hiking trail to the Tri Chotáre hill. You can also get back down to Zlatá Baňa via the Sigordský Ridge.
