Dusty (square) bastion in Bardejov

The Powder (square) Bastion in Bardejov is a Gothic four-storey bastion with a square ground plan and a late Gothic saddle portal leading to the ochodza of the castle wall.

The bastion is covered with a hipped roof and dormers from the last modification.

The role of the Powder Bastion was to strengthen the defence of the Upper Gate, as evidenced by the exits with stone gothic portals to the defensive wall towards the Monastery Bastion and the barbican parcan.
