The village of Zboj is situated in the northeastern part of the Bukovské hory Mountains in the beautiful Carpathian countryside. Most of the village belongs to the Poloniny National Park. On its territory there is also a very visited Nature Reserve Riaba Skala. Apart from its location, the village also boasts a mineral spring Kvasna voda, which is probably the only one in the Slovak part of the Poloniny Mountains.
It is a carbonated spring, which serves as a source of drinking water not only for locals, but also for visitors and tourists of the Poloniny National Park. The spring is located in the locality also known as Táborisko, where a shelter and a wooden gazebo have been built for all those who are looking for a place to rest. From the village of Zboj there are very attractive hikes to Kremenec, Riaba Skala or Čierťaž.
