Ponds of love had the original name Štrbské rybníky. The founder of the settlement Štrbské Pleso - Jozef Szentiványi used them as ponds for rearing trout. Nowadays it is a popular place for a walk and relaxation not only for young couples. Around the ponds there is a landscaped path and benches. The path to the ponds is signposted and leads from the car park opposite the tourist hostel.
Educational trail is thematically focused on the history of Štrbské Pleso, flora, fauna, personalities who worked here, sports events, spa history and a lot of other useful information.
The route leads from the TEŽ station in the direction of the ski resort under the bridges by the FIS hotel - around Štrbské Pleso - the hotel complex on the south bank of Štrbské Pleso (Kúpeľná Street) - around Nový Štrbské Pleso - the Love Lake. The route has a total of 40 stops.
