Čertižské sedlo can be found on the border of Slovakia and Poland. Through the saddle passes the hiking trail from the village Čertižné and also the international hiking trail E3 from the Dukla Pass to Kremenec.
From the Čertižský saddle, the Medzilaborecká furrow runs southeast. The place lies between the Klin and Fedorkov mountains and is the source area of the Laborec river.
There is also a cycle route passing through there. The asphalt road from Čertižný through the displaced village of Czeremcha leads to the village of Jasliska in Poland. On the Polish side, it is partly a forest road to Lipowiec and then an asphalt road to Jasliska.
There are other beautiful places and locations in the surroundings: the Fedorkov Hill and Kamien Hill, the source of the Laborec River, the military cemetery on the state border, the Kut Hill with a shelter and a fireplace, the Driečna - Pulawy cycle route and others.

For pedestrians: from the bus stop Čertižné, the final one, where it is possible to park a car, follow the asphalt road with the green tourist mark to Čertižské sedlo. From there we have the option of returning back the same way or several options to continue hiking. One option is to continue northeast to the Fedorkov and Kamien hills, where we can see the source of the Laborec River and military cemeteries from World War I along the way. In the direction from the saddle to the south-west there is the Kút hill with a shelter and a fireplace. In the north direction we continue into Poland and after about 1 km we find the remains of the displaced village Czeremcha.
