First year of the campaign Winter Challenge with a bow Discovery of Northeast Slovakia enjoys great popularity even in this unfavourable epidemiological time. On the basis of the positive feedback from the participants and the current resolution of the Government of the Slovak Republic, the date of the campaign will be prolong. Contestants will be able to visit any of the 15+1 (bonus) sites until March 28, 2021.
"The original date of the end of the competition was set symbolically on the day of spring equinox - March 20. However, for the second time this year the ban on people going into the countryside outside their district has come into force. Although eight days will not fully compensate for the time during which the ban is in force, we would at least like to compensate for the loss of the opportunity for campaigners to visit some of the sites involved in the Winter Challenge," explains Martin Janoško, Executive Director of KOCR Northeast Slovenka.
The other good news is the availability of rewards for the locations beaten in the campaign. These will be available at three dispensing points from 8 March to 30 April 2021. Contestants will be able to collect their prizes by contacting the following locations by phone:

KOCR Northeast of Slovakia donates to everyone who has passed at least five places, a nice gift in the form of a headlamp, in the case of ten sites it is a tourist mug and for all fifteen a T-shirt. In addition, everyone who passes all the locations is automatically entered into a draw for other prizes, such as hiking boots from BOSP or handmade bamboo hiking sticks ZorPoles.
