Visitors of the International Tourism Fair ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2023 in Bratislava explored the beauties, attractions and tips for trips in the Prešov Region during four days. The exposition of the Prešov Region was prepared by KOCR Northeast of Slovakia.
Experiences on the third - this was the subtitle of the trio of events that took place from Thursday 20 April to Sunday 23 April took place in the Bratislava Inchebe. Tourism and gastronomy fairs ITF Slovakiatour and Danubius Gastro together with the Motor Show covered products and services from almost 250 exhibitors from 13 countries and attracted 70 216 visitors during four days.
KOCR Northeast of Slovakia introduced visitors Prešov Region in cooperation with member regional tourism organisations (OOCR) Tatry - Spiš - Pieniny, OOCR Región Vysoké Tatry, OOCR "Šariš" - Bardejov and OOCR Región Šariš.
On an area of 30m2, representatives of these organisations presented the best of the Prešov Region - an offer of trips, experiences, events and tourism services. The stand was dominated by large-format photographs of the region's attractions, which were complemented by a tasting of water from the healing springs of the Bardejov Spa and a demonstration of rocks with rare opal from the Slovak Opal Mines.
Publications with tips for trips, thematic brochures (wooden churches, castles and manor houses of the PSK, UNESCO monuments, St. Mary's pilgrimage, bicycle tours, etc.), tourist and cycling maps, materials about the attractions of the regions and a variety of services were available for visitors. In addition, during the exhibition the region was presented through a live broadcast of the Slovak Radio.
The activity was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic.
