Are you looking for new experiences and consider yourself an adventurer? How about spending the night in an igloo made of real snow in the middle of a snowy landscape? Such an unusual experience will transport you to a whole new world! The adventure trip takes place on the edge of the Low Tatras near the village of Vikartovce.
Upon arrival, you will meet your guide who will provide you with full instructions and the necessary equipment.
The price of an overnight stay is around 160 € per person, but this unforgettable adventure lasts up to 2 days, from 9:00 to 11:00 the next day. The price includes a guide, snowshoes and poles, a shovel, a special winter sleeping bag that allows you to sleep in an igloo in comfort and protects you from the cold. The equipment also includes an air mattress and silver foil for even more comfort and warmth. But don't forget to bring your own winter jacket, hat and backpack to carry your sleeping bag.
After a short briefing you will go on a short, approximately A 50-minute hike to a place where you build your own iglooin which you will sleep the following night. Dinner in an igloo can be cold, so you will dine in a nearby wooden hutbut don't expect a fancy dinner. Remember, there's deep forest all around. You'll need start a fireto warm up your dinner. This activity will require teamwork - one person will find the wood, start the fire and another will cook the food.
In the morning you will wake up to a quiet peaceful environment, walk to a nearby shepherd's hut where you will be waiting breakfast with hot tea. This will be followed by a drive to your car with your driver/guide who will take you to your hotel.
