PREŠOV/POPRAD (7. 2. 2016) - Do you know that Slovak historical treasures also have their shape made of lego kits? You can admire well-known and popular tourist places in "lego form" at an unusual exhibition.
A unique LEGO exhibition called TatraBRICK FEST is heading to the Tatras. It is intended for the age category from 3 to 99 years. Adventures for young and old from exhibitors from all over Slovakia (architecture, castle, creator, city, friends, star wars, tech) will be available to the public in the Tatra Gallery in Poprad.
You will find here the historic first trolleybus from the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empirewhich used to run from Poprad to Starý Smokovec in the years 1904-1906. model of the square of Spišská Sobota almost 3 meters long, but also Historical building of the Tatra Gallery Power Plant. Thematic dioramas, of which there are several, are a favourite theme of builders. The Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty compete with each other with their height of almost one metre.
Visitors can enjoy a diverse portfolio of LEGO® product categories such as complex Technic models, Creator architecture, pirate ship models, monumental castles, impressive STAR WARS models, a collection dedicated to the Harry Potter films and much more. In addition to static models, the exhibition also includes also moving exhibits, which will certainly attract attention, for example, a large track with a moving train set. Not everyone knows that LEGO® was not plastic bricks at the beginning, but first wooden toys and metal cars. The exhibits of the company's earliest products made in the first half of the last century are a rarity, as well as the no-longer-produced Fabuland series.
Parents will also enjoy another added value of the exhibition, which is a play area for children to show off their creativity.
The exhibition will run from 6 February 2017 to 21 April 2017.
