In the Bardejov Spa, both guests and external guests have a choice of two wellness facilities
In the new four-star congress hotel Alexander****, which was put into operation in the Bardejov Spa in January 2016, the hotel wellness was opened on Wednesday 2 March. It will serve not only the accommodated guests, but also the general public.
The hotel's wellness area is open Wednesday - Sunday from 13.00 to 20.30. In Bardejov Spa guests will have a choice of two wellness complexes. The larger Wellness SPA - pool and sauna world is in the Ozón Hotel and the smaller one (without swimming pool) is in the Alexander Hotel. This was informed by the economic and commercial director of the Bardejov Spa Tamara Šatanková.
"The Alexander Wellness Hotel has everything you need to relax in one place. You will find a whirlpool, Finnish and steam sauna, cooling pool, rain shower, tropical and massage shower, tepidarium, fitness. You can also take advantage of a wide range of different massages. Entry for the public is by telephone reservation on 054/477 6001. Adults pay €9 per hour, students and seniors €7. A two-hour entry is only €2 more expensive. A classic 15-minute basic massage (back, shoulders, neck) costs €9.50, a classic 25-minute extended massage (base and upper limbs) costs €13 and a full-body 40-minute massage costs €16.," said T. Šatanková.
She added that the larger Wellness SPA at the Ozón Hotel is similar to the one at the Alexander Hotel. A two-hour entry to the pools and sauna world for adults in Ozón costs €11.00 and for seniors (also valid for children, students, handicapped, Janský plaque holders) €9.00. Hourly admission to the pools only is cheaper - for adults it costs 5 €, for seniors 4 €. Two-hour entry for adults 9 €, for seniors 7 €. The pools in Ozone have different opening times than in Alexander - they are open daily 11.00 - 21.00, the sauna world daily 13.00 - 21.00. Fitness, massage and solarium, however, only from Thursday to Monday from 13.00 - 21.00. Always the first Friday of the month is night bathing in Wellness SPA in Ozone from 21:00 - 24:00 + BONUS 2 persons for the price of one. The same bonus - 2 people for the price of one is also on sale every Monday. Parking is for the public free wellness visit.

New four-star hotel Alexander
The Alexander Hotel was built during a 13-month complex reconstruction of the former Mineral Hotel for approximately EUR 6.6 million. Bardejov Spa with this reconstruction, they are continuing the extensive investments that their qualitatively move towards the top spa and hotel facilities in Slovakia. According to available data, the Alexander, east of the High Tatras, is the largest congress hotel in the Prešov region. Its capacity is up to 300 congress seats in 3 variable solutions. Technical equipment for congresses is state-of-the-art. The hotel has also private wellness and fitness centre and is connected by a connecting corridor to the Ozón Hotel, where a wider range of wellness services are available. Hotel Alexander offers accommodation in 75 luxuriously furnished rooms, of which 5 apartments and 5 barrier-free rooms. Rooms are comfortably furnished, equipped with LCD TV, internet, telephone, minibar and safe.
Bardejov Spa - a unique spa
Bardejovské kúpele, a. s., are among the top of the Slovak spa industry with a long tradition. The first written mention of the spa comes from as early as 1247, a greater spa boom occurred in the first half of the 18th century. In the 1860s, the first brick buildings were added and this is considered to be the official foundation of the spa. The company's facilities provide spa care to clients of health insurance companies (adults and children), self-paying clients, clients on convalescent, recovery and relaxation stays. Traditionally, congresses, seminars, trainings and workshops are held in local hotels.
