PREŠOV/POPRAD (31 October) - Poprad citizens will be able to skate at the city's ice rink for free in the new winter season.
In the last winter season more than 1 600 skaters took advantage of this opportunity.
The town hall offers public skating in November on four dates, namely November 4, 12, 17 and 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.. The spokesman of the city Marián Galajda informed about it.
Last season, the town hall opened the ice rink after it had to prematurely end the operation of mobile ice surfaces in the city centre and in the Juh housing estate due to the warm winter.
During eight three-hour blocks in March and April, 1 685 skaters took advantage of the public skating at the ice rink.
"Aj vďaka tomuto veľkému záujmu mesto pokračuje v tejto aktivite aj v novej sezóne," uviedol Galajda.
