The traditional and always exceptional Prešov Trinity Fair will return to the centre of Prešov in June. The popular event will again this year offer a presentation of folk culture, crafts, many attractions, a variety of food and drinks right on the Main Street. What is new is that the fair will run for a whole week, from 5 to 10 June 2023. Visitors can also look forward to a varied cultural programme every day.
Prešov Trinity Fair will take place in the metropolis of Šariš for the 22nd time. It is one of the important city events, which are popular with local residents and tourists. The fair has regularly been a part of the biggest city festivities - the Days of Prešov, but this year it will stand out as a separate event with a cultural programme every evening.
At the fair, Prešov residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of traditional Slovak dishes, but also gourmet novelties. In addition to gastro stands, a variety of traditional folk culture goods and handicrafts will also be on offer. Basket makers, carvers, blacksmiths and potters will show off their skills. There will also be textiles, toys, cosmetics and many other products.
Bands will take care of the entertainment Hrdza, Basawell, Dynamix, Duchonovci, Ďusi band, legendary Ander from Košice with his band Koňare and many others. They will also present Prešov folklore ensembles FS Šarišan, DSF Šarišanček, FS Dúbrava, DFS Dúbravienka, FS Šariš and they will also come walkers, swordsmen or falconers. Children's attractions will be prepared for the little ones. On Saturday, June 10, visitors to the fair will be able to take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the town.
