The Prešov Self-governing Region together with the town of High Tatras launches from today 17.07.2023 in Tatranská Lomnica in the area of the former Eurocamp - a free parking lot for tourists and shuttle bus transport on the route Tatranská Lomnica - Tatranské Matiare - Biela voda.
From Monday 17.07. 2023 new traffic regulations will apply on the road from Tatranské Matliarov to Kežmarské žľaby, including Biela Voda. The section will be equipped with culverts and traffic signs that will warn drivers of the ban on parking along the road.
The shuttle service will run on the route Tatranská Lomnica - Tatranské Matliare and Biela voda. Specifically, it will stop at the Tatranská Lomnica P+R (park and ride), Tatranská Lomnica Eurocamp, Tatranská Lomnica 1. máj, Tatranská Lomnica stanica (at the stop it is possible to transfer to other lines of suburban bus transport, trains on the route Poprad - Tatranská Lomnica, as well as trams TEŽ), Tatranské Matliare and Biela voda.
There are scheduled bus departures from the interceptor parking lot to White Water:
- from 7.20 a.m. to 9.40 a.m. at 20 min. intervals
- from 9.40 a.m. to 2.20 p.m. at 40 min. intervals
- from 14.20 h to 16.40 h at 20 min. intervals
- from 16.40 h to 19.20 h at 40 min. intervals
Tourists can use buses to return from the White Water to the catchment car park:
- from 7.40 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. at 20 min. intervals
- from 10.00 h to 15.20 h in 40 min. intervals
- from 15.20 h to 17.00 h at 20 min. intervals
- from 17.00 to 19.40 at 40 min. intervals
The price of a ticket for an adult will be a maximum of EUR 1.50 when paying in cash, and even cheaper when paying with a transport card. Passengers will pay one euro per ticket. Children and pupils will have a fare of €0.80 when paying in cash and €0.50 when paying by chip card.
Seniors over 70 years of age, pregnant women and holders of the gold Janský plaque will pay EUR 0.30 from the transport card for a special fare, seniors can also pay in cash for EUR 0.50.
The family weekend fare of one euro, where at least one parent and at least one child under 15 years of age must travel, remains in force. Each member of the family will pay one euro per ticket during the weekend and on public holidays.
