New connections between Poland and Slovakia

PRESOV/BARDEJOV (9 June 2016) - TigerExpress has opened further new connections between Poland and Slovakia. Since June 2016, minibuses have been running twice a day on the new route Košice - Prešov - Bardejov - Nowy Sacz - Krakow Airport - Krakow Centrum. Thanks to the new connection, the north and east of Slovakia will gain a long-awaited direct connection to Poland.
Tickets can be booked online, prices start from EUR 9.

The carrier TigerExpress.eu is a Polish-Czech-Slovak company, which since 2013 operates transport on several routes connecting the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland and now also Slovakia. TigerExpress cooperates with Krakow Airport and is a partner of a major Czech-Slovak train and bus carrier - RegioJet and Student Agency Express.

Connections for tourists and also to airports

The new route allows Slovaks to get directly and quickly to the historic centre of Krakow and to Krakow Airport, which offers a wide range of flights to the whole of Europe. In addition, this connection also makes attractive areas of northern and eastern Slovakia accessible to Polish tourists.

A direct and relatively fast connection between the popular tourist destinations of Bardejov or Košice and Krakow has so far been lacking, which has noticeably limited the mutual tourist exchange.
Since last year, TigerExpress has been serving famous tourist resorts such as Bešeňová, Poprad or Liptovský Mikuláš and the Tatralandia aquapark from Krakow.

Advance seat reservation is required for all TigerExpress connections. Tickets can be purchased via the website www.tigerexpress.eu, available in Czech, Polish and English, soon to be expanded to include the Slovak language.
Tickets can also be purchased in the brick-and-mortar branches of TigerExpress partners and in the network of Student Agency and RegioJet branches, for example in Košice, Poprad and Ružomberok.

On board Wifi and refreshments

Services are operated by modern Mercedes, Volkswagen and Renault minibuses, equipped with air conditioning, 220 V sockets and free Wifi. Free refreshments are also provided on board - coffee, water and small sweets.
