Interest in UNESCO
KOCR presented the unique features of the Prešov Region through publications prepared in Hungarian and English language versions. Hungarians were interested in UNESCO monuments, national parks, Slovak opal mines or castles and castles, as their ancestors lived on our territory. In 2023, the number of foreign visitors to the Prešov Region increased by more than 34%. The third most important group was Hungarians, who accounted for almost 11% share of foreign clientele. Compared to 2022, their number increased by 56.5%.
The fair in Budapest offers the opportunity to create new business contacts and compare tourism products. It also included a caravan showroom, presentations of electric mobility in the context of cycling and a boat exhibition.
