EAST - Your camp

In recent years, enthusiasm for caravanning, camping and active leisure has found more and more fans in Slovakia and around the world. If you are one of them, you are in the right place!

The interest in searching for camping sites, attractive tourist routes for cyclists and opportunities for active leisure time is becoming so strong that the two eastern Slovak regions have decided to react to the demand within this segment by uniting under the destination brand EAST.

Košice and Prešov Region have a wide range of caravan parks and natural, cultural as well as historical points of interest, which will be presented at this year's 3rd edition of the international tourism fair Caravan Bike and Travel 2024 in Nitra. Don't miss this feast of caravanning, camping, cycling and hiking in Slovakia.

The East is beautiful, we'll show it to you together

The common interest of our regional tourism organisations, Košice Region Tourism and the North-East of Slovakia, is to show visitors to the Eastthat just as they do not perceive the borders of our regions when travelling, neither does the brand "VÝCHOD" and brings new, interconnected products to the tourism scene. The aim of such communication is more satisfied visitors in Eastern Slovakia. The demand for services in the caravanning segment has a rising trend and with it comes a more intense need for building new camping capacities, quality infrastructure and effective promotion, the basis of which is just a systematic joint approach.

At this year's Caravan Bike and Travel 2024, we will present our visions for the development of camping in Eastern Slovakia and at the same time, as a destination, we will better understand the needs of Slovak and European caravanners, whom we want to attract to the East for holiday adventure.
