In the locality of Krúžok in the cadastre of the villages Uloža,Vyšné Repaše and Závada (local part of Levoča) there is a modern cross-country skiing area Levoča Nordic Centrum. It has a history of more than 50 years of grooming cross-country ski trails in this locality and many plans for further development and modernization.
During the winter season 2017/ 2018, the area is groomed three circuits and a central stadium measuring 70 x 30 metres. Running circuits are 6 to 10 metres wide. Due to the significant reconstruction and modernisation of the area in 2017 and 2018, the circuits are marked with temporary markings.
"During 2018 we plan to extend the cross-country circuits and build a 5 km circuit and to obtain FIS certification for all circuits, which will guarantee us to organize Slovak Cup and M- SR races in cross-country skiing.The 2.5 km circuit is designed with artificial lighting. In the future, we plan to modify the Levoča Ski Route in the length of 30 - 40 km, which will lead along the ridge of the Levoča Hills and will also lead through the former military training area Javorina.," presents the next plans of the LEVOČA NORDIC CENTRE.

LEVOČA NORDIC CENTRE is a civil association which has as its main goal the construction of a sports complex that will meet the national importance as a centre for the training of youth in cross-country skiing, as well as a sports ground for disabled athletes and the general public.
Primarily our attention is currently focused on the locality of Kružok in the cadastre of Levoča, between the villages of Uloža and Vyšné Repaše, where for several seasons we have been providing maintenance and grooming of cross-country ski trails.
