During the European Mobility Week, special discounts with weekend passes for families with children to selected cultural venues have been launched.
The special weekend fare for families with children up to 15 years of age in the amount of EUR 1 is valid for each family member in suburban bus transport in the east of Slovakia.
With this ticket, the family also receives an additional discount to selected cultural facilities.
Conditions for granting the discount:
- on the bus you have to ask the driver for a weekend fare of 1 euro per person
- upon entering the selected cultural facility, the family will present the issued weekend tickets
- family members receive a discount on admission
- the discount is valid only on the day when the weekend ticket was purchased
Facilities where the discount can be applied with weekend fare from 16 September 2023 to 31 December 2023:
[trip:12000;Ľubovnianske múzeum] (discount 1 euro), Victoria Gardens (discount 1 euro), Red Monastery Museum (discount 1 euro), Observatory and Planetarium in Prešov (discount 1 euro), Podtatranské múzeum in Poprad] and Poprad - Spišská Sobota (discount 20 %).
Facilities where the discount can be applied from 16 September 2023 to 1 October 2023:
Borša Manor (discount 10 %), Veterans Museum (discount 50 %), Klokočina - virtual zoo (discount 20 %), Kováčová Watermill (discount 50 %), Rožňava Watchtower (adult entry discount 2 €, children and pensioners discount 1 €, with guide discount 8 €), climb to the highest church tower in Spišská Nová Ves (free of charge, except for 1. 10. 2023), Betliar Manor (discounted entry - adults €6, discounted €4, mausoleum discounted €2), Spišský hrad (discounted entry with weekend ticket €3), Zlatý Hýľ Water World (discount 10 % for entry to the swimming pool, advance registration required on their website).
Thermalpark Šírava (discount 20 % only on 16 and 17 September 2023 upon presentation of any ticket from that day from bus or train outside 2 h entries and entries after 18.00).
