Renaissance bastion in Bardejov

The Renaissance bastion in Bardejov is originally a Gothic two-storey bastion with a rectangular plan, open towards the town.

It was named after the superimposed Renaissance attic decorated with sgraffito, which was created in 1582 by the Pel brothers from Lugano. The inner part of the bastion consisted of wooden floors at the height of the gunports.

Its reconstruction was completed in 2009.
