The 63 hectares of the Haligov Rocks are located in the Pieniny National Park.
The limestone ridges, which rise 300 metres above the Lipník stream valley, offer a real natural wealth - bizarre rock towers, karst valleys (Široká, Hlboká), hollows, dry troughs or caves. Among the most famous are Aksamitka in Červená skala or Zbojnícka jaskyňa under Hruba skala. Its hallmark is the 5-meter high rock window Zbojnícka brána (Zbojnícka Gate).

However, the beauty of the Haligova Rocks lies not only in the secrets underground. The limestone ridges or rubble are home to diverse fauna and flora. Among the plant species, Carpathian and West Carpathian endemics and subendemic species such as the Penaceae arabe, Borbášov's cress, Alpine aster, smooth-leaved double-beaked thistle, grey thistle, headed zerva are abundantly represented.

In winter, the Haligov Rocks Reserve is inaccessible. In other seasons tourists can visit it thanks to hiking trail.
