The main objective of the project:

• Increasing the attractiveness and development of the Slovak-Polish border area by creating a common tourist product, which results from the cultural and natural resources of the area, by engaging 3 partners (one from Poland, two from Slovakia).

The specific objectives of the project are:

• Developing Polish-Slovak cooperation
• Creation of a Polish-Slovak tourist product
• Increasing the sustainable use of cultural and natural heritage resources of the Slovak-Polish border area

Project Description:

- Creation of a 28.11 km section of the EuroVelo 11 cycle route between Muszyna and Mníšek nad Poprad

- construction of 2 footbridges over the Poprad River, in the villages_ Legnava-Milik and Andrzejówka - M. Lipník. In Andrzejówka, a bicycle resting place will be built by the footbridge,

- marking of the low-traffic section of the road connecting the Poprad valley with Prešov with a length of 72 km. On this section there are the following villages: M. Lipník - Plavnica - Lipany - Sabinov - Veľký Šariš - Prešov,

- the creation of cycle rest areas (Milik - PL) and a tourist information centre in Sulín (SR),

- Preparation of objects along the cycle route for obtaining the international certificate Welcome Cyclists, which will be implemented by the non-profit organization Amber Route from its own resources,

- promotion and marketing.

Activities of the partner Regional Tourism Organisation North-East of Slovakia:

- Marking of the 100 km route in accordance with STN 08028

- Information system (30 pcs)

- CR product with a comprehensive offer of attractions on the EV 11 route

- 2 promotional events

- EV 11 website development and SEO service

- information material (brochure) PL/SK/AJ

- presentation at 2 CR fairs

- video presentation of the new CR product in the EV 11 corridor and electronic version of the product

- promotional packages
