Bachledka was transformed into a real paradise for all lovers of snow and skiing. In addition to winter sports, it offers evening adventures under the stars three times a week.
Winter hit Ždiar in full force. Intense snowfall and snowmaking pleases skiers and children. Bachledka Ski&Sun connects three valleys with access to the resort from each of them, Bachledova dolina, Malá Franková and Jezersko. The resort offers 8.5 km of slopes of varying difficulty. There is also a popular attraction, the Treetop Trail.
Bachledka ski resort starts the ski season Friday 8 December to Sunday 10 December. For those who prefer the comfort and beauty of nature, there will also be Walkway in the treetops. During the opening weekend there will be 10-seater chairlift Bachledka, four-seater Jezersko and Hrebeň in operation. Slalomák, Majstrák and Hreben slopes will be open. The resort will then be open daily from 15 December.
Fans will also enjoy freeridufor whom winter has literally created a winter paradise. The novelty is New Training Centre, which is mainly used by members of ski clubs for training. New ski slope is named after brothers Otto and Vlad Krajňák. The length of the slope exceeds 920 m and the elevation is 212 m. Otto Krajňák is a holder of the Crystal Globe for winning the Veterans World Cup and a multiple world champion of the Masters category.
Excellent conditions and groomed trails are enjoyed by also fans of cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering. For those marked by the centre new skialp route from Bachledova dolina to the top of Spišská Magura. Runners a modified observation deck awaits 14 km a long track along the ridge of Spišská Magura towards Ždiar.
The fun doesn't stop in the evening
The centre has prepared a magical Wonderful landscape. Three times a week, visitors can enjoy an experiential evening programme. A magical landscape lights up in the accompanying programme 27 December 2023 in Bachledka. Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 17:00 to 21:00 tourists will enjoy evening walk along the Treetop Walkway under the stars and a fun evening tobogganing on the 2.5 km long toboggan run.
The treetop walkway is illuminated by a light chain up to 1234 metres long. In front of the entrance gate there is a light exhibition.
The evening atmosphere adds an unrepeatable magical atmosphere to the whole experience. The fun on the slope lasts throughout the winter. The resort has prepared a music programme, snow parties and live folk music concerts throughout the winter season. Winter in Bachledka will thus be fabulous for all children and their parents with lots of snow, fun, sports and adventures.
