Autumn is approaching and with it comes a unique opportunity to take part in an unforgettable event under our great mountains. The Balloon Fiesta is coming again under the Tatras, which will take place from 13th to 15th October 2023, starting in Veľká Lomnica. It is more than just an experience. It is an opportunity to see the world from a completely new perspective.
"There are a number of global balloon fiestas where balloon enthusiasts from all over the world come together. These events offer spectators a unique opportunity to see multi-coloured balloons in the sky. We have experienced this sight several times, and we still can't get enough. And now you have that opportunity too," invites Danka Velecká, director of OOCR Vysoké Tatry - Podhorie, to the event.
When the air is filled with excitement and anticipation and the sun is just beginning to peek over the horizon, it's an excellent time for an unforgettable hot air balloon ride in the enchanting surroundings of the great outdoors. Balloons are scheduled for morning and afternoon flights at 7:00 am and 4:00 pm with take-off in Veľká Lomnica.
