The Prešov and Košice self-governing regions joined forces and presented themselves at the Caravan Bike Travel 2024 fair under the joint brand of EAST - YOUR CAMP. They brought to the Nitra exhibition centre Agrokomplex in Hall A a piece of the Eastern Slovakia atmosphere, the possibility of camping and discovering the regions. The exposition enjoyed high attendance and interest of visitors from all over Slovakia and neighbouring countries.
The three-day exhibition of caravanning and camping was also attended by the Prešov and Košice regions on 22 - 24 March 2024, directly in a joint exhibition. Brand "EAST" was presented not only through sophisticated graphics, but especially by presenting the opportunities that these regions offer for all campers, tourists, cyclists and discoverers of the unique features of our country.
On the occasion of this cooperation, the regional tourism organisations Northeast of Slovakia and Košice Region Tourism published a joint material Campsites in Eastern Slovakia summarising 32 campsites in the east of Slovakia, including a clear map of the campsites. There are also new promotional items with the logo EAST - YOUR CAMPwhich visitors could win after participating in interactive activities and quizzes.
The atmosphere of the northeast of Slovakia was authentically complemented by rafters from Pension Pltník with a real raft, Goral music and the smell of delicious coffee from the family mobile café Rickshaw Coffee from Poprad. The movement was brought by the manufacturer of design and growing bicycles SHARVAN and leisure opportunities in the regions were presented by regional tourism organisations Šariš region, Upper Zemplín a Tatras Spiš Pieniny. There was also Honey Žofia from the beautiful Poloniny Mountains, who introduced the campaign LEGENDARY families with children.
Košice Region Tourism brought Tokaj wines from the winery to Nitra Chateau Grand Bari a camping Mala Bara, the boys from Enjoy The Ride, thanks to which children could try the obstacles on BMX and natural beauties approached OOCR Slovak Paradise and Spiš. A magical landscape HARAVARA sent its representative Max to the west of Slovakia.
Throughout the three days, visitors could enjoy mixed TATRATEA drinks and craft beer Kaltenecker and sweet tooths on traditional cod from Fish Košice and sweet Horalkach.
Exposition EAST - YOUR CAMP enjoyed the attention and praise of visitors, co-exhibitors and partners. We believe that the cooperation between the Prešov and Košice regions will continue and will offer space for the creation of other valuable joint projects.
